"The United States?" Lizzy repeated. "You mean to tell me that I am in the colonies?"
Lizzy vaguely remembered a girl from her village being sent to the colonies by her parents because she had ruined herself, by getting pregnant outside of marriage. Her parents then acted like the girl had never existed. Lizzy had felt sorry for the girl, but kept that opinion to herself.
She glanced at the man again - Dean Winchester. He did not look like he was one to participate in the black arts, then again Kitty didn't look like she could use a rifle and she did have excellent aim.
"It is a pleasure Mr Winchester," Lizzy bowed slightly, for now deciding to be as pleasant as possible. "My name is Elizabeth Bennet. Is there some sort of black arts afoot? One does not simply end up in another place, and is unable to leave, on natural causes."
