She didn't really know the story between the three of them, though the words Ruby said painted a vague picture. It did, in a sense, make Faith seem like a hypocrite, though at the same time she also saw were the other Slayer was coming from.
"I guess I can see why she might not like you then." Buffy said flatly, before taking a few strides to sit down on the steps at the front of the church that lead up to where the priests or whoever worked here did their lecturing. "But then again it sort of makes her sound like a hypocrite. Considering what she's taken from people, and the forgiveness that was given to her." though not fully given. Buffy couldn't fully forgive, not completely, she never could, though she would try.
Buffy looked over at Ruby, actually trying to come up with an answer for the demon-woman, and ignoring her last statement. "I don't know." she said to Ruby honestly. "Not to insult you, since apparently you like him, but I think he's a bit of a bitch." she held her hands up in an apologetic gesture. "I just don't like him, sorry, so I keep my distance from him and I don't know what he's like, or how he thinks. I don't know what's up with Faith. I don't actually know what she thinks about you. But speaking from a girl point of view, taking a way someones boyfriend is a major piss off. But if she deserves to work to be forgiven, then so do others." she didn't know Ruby before, but she'd never seen anything from the demon that suggested she had something else in mind.
Then again, she was a demon.
"Sorry I'm kind of useless with the help. This city has killed my groove." She use to have a base. Somewhere to stand. Buffy always questioned herself. Always, but she had a basic idea of what was the best course of action, most of the time. Here, she had nothing.
