It was a bad decision. And it was one that struck Morgana deeply. To her his silence said more than his words had. In any other situation she would have given him his due for not being an "idiot", as she so often accused him of, by allowing his emotions get the best of him. Nevertheless, something. Anything. Would have been better than this rigid silence. It hurt her that he was closing her out so completely. She wanted to rage at him some more. Because he had no right. And the nerve of him to even do this. To even close her out like this. Because she had her worries and her fears for him. She had done her best to protect him. To protect all of them. Even when she saw so much pain and death surrounding the ones she cared for. He should be ... she didn't know what. But closing her out wasn't what she wanted. It scared her. What was going on in his head. Because for once she couldn't guess. As angry as she was with him right the moment. Morgana didn't want to lose him. Either of them. One was her best friend and the other was like a brother to her, was her friend. No matter what they might see to or of each other. He meant the world to her. They both did.
"I see." Morgana said with a shakey breath, mantaining as much calm and coolness as she could. Not allowing him to hear how much his silence was hurting her. One would have thought it was impossible for her to stand straighter. "Your silence says more than your words ever could." Though thing was, it didn't. And that was what made her tone sharper, a bit more mocking and snide with this second sentence. Because she didn't know and that had her insecure. More insecure than this entire situation had. And she hated it. She hated him, hated this. As much as she loved Arthur, she hated that her heart and her emotions, even how things might be in the future, rested in this boy-prince's hands.
"Don't let me stop you from going off to kill something." She might not know what the silence meant but she still knew him. If she was in the mood to let out a snort, she would. But she couldn't even call up the energy. "That is if you can find anything."
She moved away from him, and was about to call to Gwen when she paused. Gwen didn't have to follow her anywhere. And she certainly wasn't going to put her friend in the middle of this. "When you're free, Gwen. Please come and look at what I bought you. I really do think that you'll like it." It was a testament of Morgana's affection for the other woman that despite her mood she actually managed to gentle her tone.
