Morgana really wasn't surprised to find him there waiting for her. "I went out looking for a job, like I told you." She said the words easily enough, "Ruby came to get me and she took me to buy some much needed clothes. I purchased something for all of you." Morgana didn't add more to that. Starting off right away with 'and we did some magic' weren't the right words to say to Arthur in his current move.
"I'm quite sure that the shirt will fit you but if it doesn't or you don't like it, can be returned." Inane topic of conversation, yes but it was her way of saying that she wouldn't be dragged into an argument. Or made to feel guilty as he had done to her earlier that afternoon. They would have this discussion as civilly as possible. They would do this on as much of her terms as possible. She also couldn't help but to start things off in clothes. Because she knew it would irritate him. And she was irritated with him, just a bit.
She can't believe she had let him carry her away like that. Not that she hadn't believed his words and ... but she'd become so focused on Arthur actually admitting that he didn't want her to leave, she'd almost missed what he'd been doing. Almost.
