"It's no trouble at all," she assured him. Her eyes widened a bit at his decision to leave after eating. Something told her that might not be such a great idea. At least, not until he'd had a chance to at least get somewhat used to his surroundings.
"You don't have to leave," Katara stated after a second. "The man who owns the hotel, Angel, helps people. He's opened the rooms available to anyone who needs one. I'm sure he'd be fine with you staying there." She wasn't going to push the issue, but she did want him aware that there wasn't any chance he'd overstay his welcome. Not at the Hyperion.
The sound of shuffling coming from the alley she was standing closest to caused Katara to stiffen a bit. Her smile became strained as she asked Dar, "Are you ready to go? Staying outside for very long isn't very safe, in this city. There are... creatures here that roam free without the sun to rule them."
