Turning his head back when she spoke again he became even more confused. Holding up his hand he shook his head. "I've never heard of those places. The closest city I was near was Xinca." he told her. "This..is not it." he said, waving his hand around.
He lowered his head and sighed when she told him that getting home was pretty much an impossibility. If what she said was true and others had arrived here in much the same way as he had and had no chance of getting home that meant everything he knew was gone. Lifting his head, he nodded slightly.
"Katara..pretty name." he said softly. "I'm Dar." he said. "I have no tribe. My people were slaughtered when I was a child. I'm the last of my kind." he said. His pouch moved a bit and he reached his hand inside it to calm the little creatures. "Where I am from I'm called the Beastmaster." he offered. Glancing up at the darkened sky he sighed and shook his head. He wasn't sure why he expected to see Sharak. The chances of that were next to nothing and he was fairly certain Ruh and Tao would not be coming around any corners any time soon. At least he had Codo and Podo with him, even if they were just as confused as he was.
