Re: FIRST DANCE – Dean & Claire;
"I love you too, Claire B--Winchester. More than you know." He didn't doubt that she loved him just as much as he loved her, but sometimes he didn't think Claire really realized just how important to him she was, how she had turned his life around and stood at his side at the times when he wasn't even sure if he could stand on his own two feet. She meant everything to him, and there weren't words enough on the planet to describe what she was to him.
Dean did notice when the last notes of the song died away, suddenly aware that they weren't alone in the room. It was funny, how he forgot that so many people were there, and while he didn't regret anything that he had done, he was thankful that they weren't alone on the dance floor anymore. He watched as people they knew and loved joined them on the floor, suddenly less conscious of where his feet were or weren't moving, less scared of stepping on her dress or ripping something.
He was dancing with his wife, next to lots of other people enjoying that very same simple pleasure, and in that moment Dean Winchester was totally and completely happy.
