FIRST DANCE – Dean & Claire;
It could not have been more perfect, simply put. Of all the things Claire was likely to tease him about in the future in one of their frequent games of 'what was actually said/done', this would never be one of them. This dance, while caught in photographs and video for as long as they lasted, would remain first and foremost impressed on her heart, held there as an untouchable moment. Singular, perfect and never tainted by anything. Theirs, forever.
His lips close to her ear, it took only a brief tilt of her own to bring her lips near his ear.
"I love you so much, Dean Winchester," she said, fierce as she held to him, no longer dancing so much as simply clinging and swaying. There would never be words strong enough or clear enough to capture the depth and ferocity of that feeling, one that just seemed to continue to grow over time. Even when it seemed impossible that she could love him any more, something always proved to her that she was wrong and the heart was capable of infinite expansion. So she wasn't just pledging the love she had now, but all the love they would grow into over the years.
When the song changed from theirs to the one meant for all of the wedding party to come and join them on the floor, Claire didn't even notice.
