At the side of the truck, Claire paused to look at Sharon. Coming to this place alone was always hard, but it had to be doubly hard to do it with a child that needed protection. She'd watched more than a few others do it, including Dean with Ben (even if that's hadn't been an arrive together situation), and she never stopped finding levels of respect for people who went through their own world's problems, then came here and faced all of this and put their children ahead of it the whole time.
"My war zone was nothing like yours, from the stuff Sam's talked about, but this place... it kinda finds a way to outdo some of the things any of us have ever gone through," she admitted, then climbed up the side of the truck bed to reach inside and start handing boxes down to Sharon one by one. "But it has it's good points too. It really does."
Meeting the woman's eyes, Claire nodded to where a bag of rock salt was just visible in the back of John Winchester's truck.
"When you find a place, if you like, I can help you out with some of your protections, the ones against demons and things like that. The trick to trying to stay safe here is using a little bit of everything, from normal security systems to the mystic stuff."
