There was a slight relaxation to Kendra's stance, not by much but it's likely the other woman would have noticed it. It was matched by a look of recognition in the younger female's eyes. She knew that pride. She could relate to that pride. Later, Kendra would actually think about being able to relate to anyone that wasn't a slayer (barring and ignoring weird moments with Ruby that Kendra purged from her mind). Now she just noticed slightly at the woman's words, "Aikido is a strong technique." It wasn't much said but just the way that she said it. Acknowledgment and respect for it, that transfered to a slight respect to the woman for practicing. Kendra didn't hand out respect that easily but fellow fighters tended to get it easier than ... everybody else.
"You mean the Factory?" A small expression of irritation passed through Kendra's face. Mostly aimed at self. That she even knew the name of vampire's club. "Ah do not know of any contests. But someone in dat club might." She probably should have just referred her to the vampire but it grated against everything to refer anyone to the vampire.
