Kendra usually didn't go out and about around the city. Even less so since the strange memory thing that Wolfram and Hart had put most of the residents through. However, since .. that ... incident, Kendra found herself growing more and more restless. Agitated with staying inside the Hyperion. Where hours upon hours of training would ease her mind, she found herself becoming easily distracted. Which only served to irritate her.
Which was why she was walking the streets of LA feeling hugely out of place. Things were different in the daylight, obviously, but she'd been on patrol enough times ... she had enough of the memories of that strange version of herself, to recall where she was going. To know how to get there without becoming lost. Before she left she'd left a note in the training room. Yes. In the training room. Normal people left notes on the fridge, well, Slayers left them on the equipment saying that, yes she had gone out of her own free will.
Kendra found herself in front of a Starbucks. And despite herself, a smile curved her mouth. This was a habit she had formed on her own. With no help from false memories. They had the best cookies.
Entering the store, she went on line. Wondering if they had started the Christmas things here. It was so strange to actually feel excited about Christmas decorations. And while she was dubious about the most of it, Kendra'd had seen a bunch of Starbucks commercials. And she was looking forward to their Christmas treats.
