Jack was worried too, he knew about all the danger out there, he knew there was a very real possibility that he'd been had by some demons or hungry vampires and the very thought made him sick. It was the same feeling like it would be pulling a gun on an unarmed man. But that wasn't the entire reason he'd asked Sam along, so he was trying not to let it get him to down, or to paranoid.
"You're telling me. I spent at least four and a half hours before this shift cleaning and re-loading them." Jack shrugged. "Typically they don't leave my sides. It's a thing..I guess since I started living here. I just feel safer with them on me at all times. But when we were..well.." he didn't know how to put it, when they lost their minds? Went crazy? "You know. Someone else, I guess that meant they stayed behind too."
But he smirked at the face Sam made seconds later and laughed. "It has the same density as human skin. So they had to see how easily it would tear with a serrated weapon."
