Sam slipped on the gear as he was told. He really wasn't comfortable in the funny goggles, but if it was going to keep him from getting his eyes shot out or worse he figured it wasn't a sacrifice that he'd have to make. Being uncomfortable versus being dead? Yeah, he'd deal. Waving off the officer that told him he was good to enter the area Jack was currently tucked into, Sam pushed his way through the entrance and stepped forward, peering through the protective eye gear to find the man that he had decided to tag along with for the day. Usually, Sam probably would have declined. But Jack had seemed excited about the idea and...honestly, Sam was looking for more reason to get out of the house than grocery shopping and hunting. This would be healthy. And interesting, to say the least.
"Hey, man," Sam said, spotting Jack as he moved in closer. He glanced around their surroundings and grinned a bit. "So, what is this, warm-up or something? You do this every day?" Getting right into business. That was, after all, what this was all about.
