Tara looked bemused for a moment at Sam's firm 'no', before a look of understanding passed over her features. She hesitated a moment-as she continued pressing the point-before she nodded. Letting it go. It really wasn't her place to tell him that said people likely wouldn't have minded at all. She also didn't say anything because she knew that feeling all too well. Or at least something quite similar to it. And while it was true that someone outside of the situation tended to have the ability to snap one back to reality, Tara also knew how awkward it was to have some complete strange point out where you were faulting.
Tara very discreetly adjusted the large bag she was caring, holding it closer against her, attempting to give the other shuffling person next to her some room. She turned to look at Sam. "Actually I was planning on calling a taxi," Tara said honestly. "when I saw you and I thought you might want to call someone. Or a tow truck." She said, reminding Sam of the other uses for her phone. Not at all mocking or amused, just simply stating. "I thought maybe you might like some company. Waiting alone out in the rain can lead to a lot of bored and ... or, or frustrated thoughts." And broken toes. But Tara kept the last part to herself.
