Sam wiped some of the damp hair out his eyes, apologetically shifting as one of the women next to him uncomfortably inched away from the shoulder that was practically smacking her in the face. Sam didn't exactly want to be in the way, but he didn't have much of a choice at the moment. He was a big guy. He certainly didn't want to stand out there any longer than he had to, so the other people crowded underneath the arch would just have to deal. It was public, anyway.
"No," Sam said, craning his neck to the side to look down at Tara. "I mean - no, thank you. I don't really want to make anyone come all the way out here. It's..." It was difficult, really. He latched his hands together and stared out into the pouring rain ahead. "They're busy. The people I'd call. But thank you."
Sam shuffled uncomfortably again. "So, you're...stuck out here, too, I guess?"
