Tara was glad that the T.V. had been playing in the background while she'd been getting dressed that morning. There had been mentions of a "light drizzle" which she had learned from experience could be anything from just that to a near monsoon. No exaggeration meant. Seeing it had been fairly sunny when she had started out and not wanting to overdress, Tara had put on her rainboots and a light jacket. The umbrella had been a very last minute addition. A thought that'd struck her when she'd been on foot quite literally out of her bedroom door.
Tara was very glad that she'd decided to listen to that instinct. She had gone to the magic shop to buy some very basic supplies and then to a store for a nice sweater she'd remembered seeing, along with this pretty comforter that had a cat on it. The cat had reminded her of Miss Kitty Fantastico and nostalgia and fondness compelled to buy it. Even though she didn't need another one. With the weather still pretty good, she decided against a taxi and was going to walk the way back to the Hyperion. She had plenty of time before evening. However, the rain had hit, hard and cold on her back. Making Tara grateful once again. Because she'd actually remembered her cellphone this time.
Tara'd been fumbling with her purchases, the umbrella, and the cellular phone when she happened to look up as she turned the phone on. Frowning slightly into the rain she noticed a man standing outside of a car. Without an umberella. She quickly figured out the situation and as she approached him, she realized who it was. Sam. She'd only spoken to him the once on the boards about Faith's birthday; nevertheless, that didn't stop her from approaching him, and holding her phone out to him. "Hi." She called out, before reaching him, over the rain, "Want to make a call?"
