They'd stayed silent for a long time, Ruby mulling over the whole conversation in her head and deciding that no, she really wasn't stalking. Okay she wasn't doing herself any favors in the sanity department begging for Sam's approval or forgiveness or pity or whatever she wanted from him. But she could have been worse. She had been worse and if it hadn't been for Castiel she knew she still would be. Or she'd be dead. Neither was an enitrely appitising prospect.
Ruby caught the sounds of a fight atound the same time Spike did and went for her knife. Oh she had a stake on her and would use it when needed but it was automatic, it was how she fought. The only demon it would kill here was her, which did mean fighting with it was a little redundant and very very risky but she was used to that, truth be told she needed that little bit of danger in her life sometimes. She walked alongside the blonde vampire into the fight and realised she'd been wrong about her worry they'd see her as the bitch that had used her so called little weapon to make their lives hell. These were vampires, and they'd really only done horrendous things to one of them, even if Sam had made her proud with how quickly he'd taken to the whole concept...
...No these vampires barely noticed her. Their eyes were fixed on Spike.
"Traitor" snarled one. It seemed a bit of an obvious insult to hurl but who was Ruby to question the things
