"Hang around with humans long enough and you start to see things the way they do. Feel the things they do. It's quite simple, really." Spike tossed the candle aside and moved over to the counter, watching with interest as Ruby examined the screen of her computer. "The usual," Spike repeated, nodding, "a little extra this time. Don't feel like walking in on mopey shopdemons if this is going to become a little habit of yours. Might as well delay the next visit a bit, eh?" Spike raked a hand through his bleached hair and waited. When Ruby finally turned her back, he leaned over the counter and turned the screen to face him. Boards were familiar. Some ridiculous poll posted by Faith about her boobs - hm, she did have a nice rack - appeared to be what Ruby had been so interested in. He could already see the silly comments spiraling down into the post. Ah. Someone was definitely sulking.
"Plan on voting, do you?" Spike didn't much care if Ruby saw him staring down her computer. Leave it open like that around a guy like Spike and things were bound to happen one way or another whether she liked it or not. "Slayer does have a nice set." Spike raised a brow, eying Ruby. "You're not so shabby yourself. Could be bigger."
Moving on. He reached into his pocket for the crumpled bills tucked away inside. "It'd help if you weren't stalking them like a madwoman," Spike stated, tossing the bills onto the counter. "Ever consider blocking them out? 'Cause I've got to tell you, going at it this way is a horrible idea. You're clearly not very smart if this is your coping method."
