She got the picture. She stepped forward, he stepped back. Right, so it was her. Clary arched an eyebrow at his explanation and gave a look that said she didn't buy it for a second. "Allergies. Right." she mused. Ff he was going to continue to insist, then she was just going to let it go.
Where he had been driving to, she didn't know, but nodded. She went to the desk, fished around in one of the drawers and then placed a key in her pocket. "Sure, follow me." she show him to his room and then make a new file on the newest guest so Cathy could keep tabs on how many people were staying here.
Clary walked toward the door, keeping a wide distance from him since apparently something about her was making him upset. Going through the door she led him past the lobby and into a more home-like setting that looked like a christmas store had blew up inside of it. There were still some boxes on the floor. "On the main floor there's a common room and kitchen, that sort of thing for guests."
She explained each room as she passed them, having become quite use to them by now. Clary led Stefan up the stairs, and onto the second floor. She walk right past her own room, choosing to give him one further from her, just in case.
Producing the key she had taken from her pocket, she unlocked one of the doors and pushed it open, leading into an empty room. Stepping to the side, she held out the key infront of her as far as she could reach it, giving him space to enter the room. "Here's your key, and this is your own room. Your space, sort of thing. But feel free to use the rooms downstairs that are open as well." she said with a smile.
