Amitiel had to give him credit. He was certainly handling the news better than she had expected. Which, really, if she'd thought about it instead of letting her own worries and fear cloud her judgment, she would have realized much sooner was likely to the be the case. After all, beings as old as the Doctor who had experienced as much as he had over the course of many lifetimes tended to take things in stride. However there was a flip side to it, too. Because while older, more experienced beings handled typically shocking news fairly well, they also tended to have issues with things not easily explained through science and other, more intellectual, mediums. It was the worry that the Doctor wouldn't believe her, or would grow angry with her for reasons she couldn't explain yet knew existed, that had led to her keeping the information to herself. And although the other versions of him in the city could easily still react in such a way, now that at least one of him knew and hadn't, she realized how pointless her fear had been to begin with.
"Of course there's an opposite side," she responded with a small, sad sort of smile. It wasn't always easy for her to think about the demons and other dark creatures that plagued humanity across most realities. Her brother was the reason they existed, after all. A brother she had once been very close with, before his Fall from Grace, and the very same brother she'd had no choice but to kill in battle shortly before finding herself in Papillon. She didn't point out any of that, though. Her problems were her own and she certainly wasn't looking for any sympathy.
"Well," she finally tacked on, more to draw her own thoughts away from her troubles and back to the situation at hand, "since it's going to be a while before you'll be able to get more information on the mummy, do you mind helping me get him back in the closet before he wakes up?" A glance toward the wall she'd slammed into when struggling with the creature caused her to wince slightly. "And then I should probably contact maintenance to fix that before I take my lunch break," she murmured with a soft sigh and a somewhat sheepish expression.
