There was a slight feeling of guilt in the pit of Amitiel's stomach. She wasn't used to guilt, it being one of the many emotions she'd never experienced while in Heaven, and she didn't like it very much. Especially considering she had no reason to really feel guilty. Yes, she hadn't told the Doctor that she wasn't human, but he hadn't exactly announced his lack of human status to the city as a whole either. And sure, she had let him put himself directly in harm's way to try and get scans of the mummy, but what fun would he have had if she'd done it any other way? Not to mention the fact that she really hadn't thought of simply knocking the mummy out until the very moment it had become necessary. Still. Emotions weren't very logical things and no amount of telling herself otherwise was going to change how she felt. So for the time being she simply ignored it as best she could by focusing on the broken screwdriver in the Time Lord's hand.
Yet when she spoke, she didn't make immediate mention of it. Instead she found herself discussing the one thing she had done her very best not to bring up as of yet. Whether it was to assuage her guilt a bit out of some misplaced effort to solve the riddle she now posed for the Doctor or whether it was simply because that was what was at the forefront of her mind, Amitiel wasn't sure. When she opened her mouth to speak, though, it was a simply put, "I'm not human at all, actually. And what I did just now is mild compared to my true capabilities." Her attention flickered from the sonic to his face, her expression and tone both neutral as she spoke again.
"I'm an Archangel. This body was given to me when I first came to the mortal coil. It lets me to blend in but it doesn't contain my true form from anything more than the naked eye and certainly not from technology like yours." She paused again and swallowed, tipping her head toward his sonic screwdriver. "I'm sorry, for your device. Can it be fixed?"
