"Wouldn't really do you much good," Nine said, a hint of amusement in his tone at the threat. He might have taken the name doctor early on in his life because he liked the images that it invoked of a healer, of someone who was there to fix things when they went wrong, but expecting him to be a proper one was always a rather bad idea in the long run. "I'm rubbish with medical equipment from any earlier than the 27th century." It wasn't entirely true, really, since he could make do with almost anything should it be an emergency and things really needed to get done, but the doctoring was really better left in the hands of the professionals.
