Hannah wasn't worried about where her relationship with Ernie stood. They had been friends for twelve years and knew just about everything there was to know about each other. Of course they each had their own secrets, Ernie likely more so than she, but she was certain they would be able to make it through any rift.
"Can't really say who caught whom," she responded as she poured a firewhiskey for a patron a bit down the bar who had just flashed his empty glass. She sent the drink to him as she continued. "We've known each other most of our lives and just finally figured out that we seem to just fit better than anyone else." Truth be told neither of them had really dated much. She liked to think it was because the friendship forged between them and Justin had served to keep them as stable as anything else could have.
"I'll keep that in mind," she nodded at the woman's advice. Though she doubted she'd ever find herself compared to his mother as he rarely if ever spoke of anyone in his family other than Heather.
