He nodded and sat down next to her in the far corner. "I know, that's how I was able to get by - well that and transforming into an animal because they weren't expecting that I could do that," he said with the first hint of a smile since he'd been there. "I'm not going without you though. We're getting out of here, we just need a good enough plan - or good enough timing. Now might be it though, Shiv. With most everyone gone, we might be able to overpower the guards left and get out of here."

Michael glanced toward the opening of the cave but didn't see any changes in the movements of the guard there. He wasn't paying them any mind so far.
