Somewhere between the end of what she had said and the end of Percy's dream, Daphne had moved to the sofa so that she could sit beside Percy. She put her hand on his shoulder, and when he trembled, she sighed. It had not been her intention to make him feel badly, but she had had enough of his self righteousness.
"That is a horrid dream," she said softly and gave his shoulder a squeeze. "But don't you feel better now that you're no longer holding it in? That would have eaten away at your mind all day."
