"Daphne, and thank you," she said in response to his saying that she may call him Percy, and the compliment he paid her. The wording made her eyebrow go up momentarily, though she still followed and took a seat at the table he had mentioned. She looked around the flat, uncertain of why a pureblood would need to do any cooking. Didn't all pureblooded families have house elves to do that sort of thing? Perhaps they were at the home of his parents, what with however many of them there were, they had to have had a number of elves doing things. She could feel herself returning to normal and leaned back in the chair, something she would never have done at home.
Daphne considered the comment about standing to gain a few pounds silently while he went about his work in the kitchen. Certainly that may have worked with people like Millicent, but then again, she wasn't expected to carry the same responsibilities as Daphne or Pansy were. That was when it hit Daphne, what would Pansy think if she knew? She would never hear the end of it... For a split second she contemplated leaving again, only to realize that at least this Weasley had great potential when it came to the proper Wizarding society.
