"So nothing," Terry said as he thought over what should be done next. "I saw a note from Lavender in the journals--she seems quite worried too since he hadn't replied to a note from her, and she hasn't seen him since Friday. And if there was anyone else to ask other than James it would've been her, right?"

"Should we check his place?" he suggested, as he took out his journal once more to see whether Lavender had replied to his questions. Upon noticing a new message he read it, not really believing what he saw. "Merlin," he said in surprise. "Look at this," he said, pointing at the response Lavender had written in.
