Of course he was in full Papa Macmillan right now. "I've taken it easy all weekend and I'm probably just off my game a little because of the wedding yesterday." And she almost said the word wedding like it wasn't the most offensive word in the universe. Except for the fact that right now weddings and that whole marriage thing kind of was. Maybe in the bigger picture it was a smaller drama, but for her it was kind of a big deal.

"And really the best thing for me to do is to just get right back into it. I mean with everything that's happening I don't think we can really afford calling out sick because there's a case of the Mondays happening." Daphne had pushed herself through worse situations in the past because that was what you had to do if you wanted to be the best. She might not be competing anymore, but she still had the same mentality. Daphne needed to stay sharp and more importantly she needed something to focus on.
