"Macmillan," she said as a return greeting as she undid her water bottle. In a few gulps she downed about a quarter of the bottle before setting it back down. "I'm fine." It was a good, easy response and really a hangover was hardly anything to worry about. She just needed to work through it and she would be good as new for the day ahead.

Still she didn't want him to linger on the fact that she might not be at the top of her game. Papa Macmillan always tended to look after his herd. Normally she didn't mind it all that much, but this morning she needed him not to make a big deal of that fact she wasn't currently at the top of her game. "I just thought I would get a bit of a work out in before I tackle what's waiting for me at my desk. I see you actually had a similar idea."
