Dean rubbed his forehead trying to remember what he'd seen, what he'd gleaned from the woman. "I...I don't know for sure. I do know I watched her take a spot off Seamus's mum as she..." Dean swallowed over the word 'died' and kept going, "and put it in that box of hers. I remember her seeming reluctant to torture information out of me, screaming that she was trying to go easy on me or something...and then she just went mad. Different. The best way I could explain it is as though there was someone else in there with her. That's the one we need to worry about. That's..."
Suddenly everything fell into place at once. What Lavender had been accusing Bianca of, what the DA had mentioned about the box, about Pandora, about the nightmare memories - it all clicked. "Pandora. Pandora's in that woman's head. I don't know how, but it's her doing this. She wants her memories back. They're all memories of torture right? Pandora was probably the one doing it. She was famous for it. And somewhere her memories got free. I don't know why they attached to certain people but that's why she's hunting them down. To get them back."
Why couldn't he have figured this out sooner? And all of that didn't help because he still didn't know who the woman with the dark hair was.
