It had been a hectic past few days with the sudden influx of patients from the inferi-like creatures, but now things seemed at least somewhat under control. Terry was glad that he'd be able to make it home sometime that evening. A day that he got to go home would make for a good one lately. Between the hospital and library he hadn't been seeing his bed at home very much lately. Instead he'd often wake up with a start faceplanted in a book, or wake up suddenly in the staff room after goodness knows how long.
That day he was assisting and learning from Healer MacDonnell in the general care ward, and was assigned some of the more easier tasks such as checking in with those who have been already medically stabilized. His mentor had to deal with a few other pressing issues, but they had agreed to meet at some point later.
Terry looked at the list for that shift and came across a name that he did recognize. He was only somewhat aware of what happened through the paper and through the journals, but didn't get to respond due to the crazy workload. Well, at least he now had a chance to drop by.
"Hi, Dean. How are things?" Terry said as he walked into the room. "I'm just dropping by to see how you were doing--I'm still on duty and I've been assigned to reassess your progress. Healer MacDonnell will check in with you again later today or tomorrow."
