Astoria just smiled sweetly at him so as to give the impression that she agreed whole heartedly. "I don't know much about the group myself, only having recently learned about it. I think I may have heard it mentioned in passing when I was in school, but I was much younger than those involved, I was never approached about it." Not that she'd been interested at the time, it just seemed like more work, and that was before she really understood the trouble they were all in.
"Scandelous, as I said." Arabesque said. "I completely agree, if they are trying to help, then wouldn't they be more successful with a broader group of people to pull information from? It seems quite silly to be working under all this secrecy, where has that gotten anyone in the past?" She let another one of her charming laughs echo out through the room, and Astoria took a sip of her tea to keep from having to respond to her mother.
The last thing that Zacharias said made her mother cough in surprise a little, but she quickly put her smile back in place and said nothing on the matter. Astoria was trying hard not to smile, as it wasn't a frequent occurance for her mother to be rattled, and she always enjoyed seeing it when it did happen. Besides, it wasn't like she could thank her father for anything, he'd just made her life more difficult, so she wasn't going to stop Zacharias from taking a jab at Death Eaters. "Quite right," she said with a smile, which earned her a fast sideways glance from her mother.
