Anthony had figured, the night before, that the woman probably hadn't died all that long before they'd found her, especially considering how strong the spell to keep the alley from anyone's notice had been at first. And the alley had looked as if it had seen a fight. He shrugged, though, answering Michael with, "No idea why she was there. From what I saw it the alley looked a bit of a mess, so I'd say she fought back. And it looked like the Killing Curse, but no one actually told me anything. I think once they realised I didn't actually see anything happen, they didn't feel the need to tell me much of anything at all. Which was fine with me, honestly."

When the owl arrived with the Prophet, Anthony saw Michael cringe and took the paper with a bit of hesitation, finding the more important headline after a moment. Did that - he'd found Seamus' mother last night, then? It made talking about it completely different than when the woman had been unknown to him just a bit ago. "But Dean as a possible suspect, though? Really?"
