Michael marked his page in Hamlet and tossed it on the back of the sofa. He grumbled a bit when Anthony moved him out of his comfortable position on the sofa but he wasn't exactly giving his friend anywhere to sit so he supposed it was necessary. So once Anthony was settled Michael put his feet back up across Anthony's lap without hesitation, smirking a little, though it lacked his usual vigor.

"Sorry mate, hasn't been all that exciting of an evening, I'm afraid." He wasn't sure if he wanted to just launch into the news or not, but Anthony deserved to know as he was, for the most part, family. Michael didn't know if Anthony had stopped by to be depressed in such a manner though. Certainly there were better things to start with? Beating around the bush wasn't really Michael's style though. "James and Dad are having the nightmares." Michael chewed the inside of his cheek. "I don't know what the fuck to do anymore, honestly."
