Entry tags:!status: complete, ^date: november 14 2003, character: fenrir greyback, character: siobhan templeton

WHO: Fenrir and Siobhan
WHAT: Finding the remnants of his pack
WHERE: Deep in the Forbidden Forest
WHEN: Nov 14, 9am ish
RATING: with kidnappings and I'm sure language, let's go with PG-13

Fenrir had made sure the girl was awake when the sun rose, and they continued their treck through the forest for the morning, getting closer to where Fenrir's pack was. He could smell them, and the scent got stronger as they got closer. Every once in a while, he would stop them and sniff the air, and correct their trajectory appropriately. When she moved too slow for his liking, he grabbed her arm and yanked her along to get her moving again, not caring if she was tired. He still didn't know her name, but he hadn't shared his with her either. Whether she knew it already or not he didn't really care, the only thing he cared about right now was getting to his pack. And finding a cigarette. He was craving a cigarette.

"Move your arse, sweetheart," he growled over his shoulder, threatening to yank her along again if she didn't pick up the pace. They were really close now, and he was eager to see how many of his people were still there.

Siobhan had barely slept the night before, and she was being pulled through the forest brutally, just like she had been the day before. The nightmare he had woken her up from early in the morning still giving her the willies of everyone around her, and it made her think that he could be leading her to that exact demise. He could know the woman she saw in her dreams, but she was scared of any outcome this walk had. She was sure she was being led to her death unless someone was able to find her before they got where they were going.

She was afraid, and tired, and trying to take as long as she could without making him kill her right there to give whoever was looking for her time to find them, but she could tell that was only making him angry. "Stop calling me that." she muttered. She almost didn't want him to hear her, but she didn't like him calling her that. At all. She tried to move out of his arm's length, but also knowing that any amount of distance between them wouldn't be enough to keep him from doing anything he wanted to her.

Fenrir was in a particularly bad mood himself, having had his own recurring nightmare that previous night. Though while he remembered some of the other inmates having a particularly hard time dealing with whatever that shite was, he didn't let it get to him too much. It was just images in his head, no doubt brought on by some fucking magic, and he used the anger and frustration from it to push him forward. It didn't scare him, per se, but it pissed him off, and he was getting a bit sick of it.

He did of course hear what she said, and stopped in his tracks, rounding on her, grabbing her by the upper arm and pulling her in close. He growled at her a little. "If you don't want to be called sweetheart, then why don't you tell me your name?" Really, this was her biggest frustration at the moment? She was going to be a pain in his arse. Of course that thought only made him remember the dream, and he quickly turned away with another snarl and continued on. "We're almost there," he called over his shoulder to her.

She couldn't help the small yelp when he rushed back to her and grabbed her. It startled her that he moved so fast. She really should have known who exactly she was dealing with, but they had only briefed them on the general population of the prison, not particular inmates. She didn't say anything when he told her to tell him her name. She wasn't that stupid. If he knew her name, he could come after her when she got rescued.

She promptly fell on her arse when he dropped her to keep walking. She just lost her footing in that moment, and even hit her shin on a rock that had been on the ground so she had to stay down for a few seconds, her lips peeled back from her teeth to show she was in pain, but trying not to voice it.

Fenrir was really losing his patients now. She was sitting on her arse in the middle of the bloody forbidden forest. She had no idea how lucky they were to not run into anything, because the other creatures knew not to mess with him. If he decided to just ditch her, she wouldn't last an hour. "Any time you want to continue, sweetheart," he said with a snarl. When she continued to sit and not move, he decided he needed to take things into his own hands if he wanted to find his pack before they died of old age.

He walked over and hoisted her up onto her feet before then picking her up and tossing her over his shoulder. He continued on not listening to any complaints she might have. He was done being nice, he wanted to get to where they were going already. If he didn't get a cigarette soon he might kill her.

Siobhan tried to get up when he growled at her, but she couldn't. She must have seriously hurt her leg when she was dropped on that rock, but she knew he wouldn't care one way or the other that she was hurt. He wanted her to get moving, and she honestly didn't care. She wanted to be found, but that wouldn't happen very quickly if they actually got where they were headed.

When he picked her up, she was half afraid he'd hurt her, but then he just threw her over his shoulder and started walking. She yelped when his shoulder connected and forced the breath out of her lungs. When it returned she was yelling at him. "Put me down!" All the while clawing and hitting at any part of him she could reach.

He ignored her protests, growling now and again to imply she should shut her trap sooner rather than later. It was about another hour of walking with her hoisted over his shoulder before they reached their destination. It was a good thing she didn't weigh that much.

When he came up to the right place, there wasn't anyone in view, but a dying fire in the center of a cleared area, and Fenrir could tell they were nearby. He unceremoniously dropped the girl on the ground and walked forwards a few feet before letting out a bit of a howling growl that quickly brought the depressing few left of his pack running out into view to see who was trespassing in their territory. Of course, when they saw who it was, they froze, not sure what to do. Then one let out a triumphant shout and stepped forward, clasping his arm in welcome and a shared laugh.

"Greyback," one of the others stepped forward, not looking nearly as happy as the others at his return.

"I'm gone for five years, and you bastards let the pack fall apart? Where the fuck is everyone?" Fenrir growled.

"Dead," another replied. "Who is your snack there?" He motioned at the girl behind him.

"Won't tell me her name, sadly. I call her sweetheart since she won't cooperate. She was nice enough to help me off that bleeding island." Fenrir glanced back at the girl.

After about twenty minutes of trying to claw and hit anything she could reach to get him to put her down, she gave up. She stilled her body and propped her head up on her hands by her elbows digging into his back. At least by carrying her, he wasn't hurting her or dragging her at a speed that was too fast for her either.

When he started slowing down, she couldn't see anything but faint light from what sounded like a fire before she was dropped on her arse yet again. This was getting to be an annoying habit of his, but she really didn't expect much else from him. She stayed where she was when the other men came into her line of sight. They were all very large, and together, they scared the shit out of her. She knew what they'd be able to do to her if they decided to. Then she heard one call the man who'd carried her there Greyback and she froze.

"Fenrir Greyback?" She whispered in horror. He was the one that had decided to break out of the prison and nab her? This was not good at all, and this had to be what was left of his pack since he was arrested.

Snack? She started crawling backward as much as she could, but when she realized she couldn't go very far, she tried to put herself behind Greyback. At least he'd promised not to kill her. These other men, she wasn't so sure about, and that one on the end was looking at her funny.

That same man took a step toward her just before he spoke. "I hope she's for us. She's pretty easy on the eyes." With that, Siobhan tried not to cringe, but failed miserably.

Fenrir smiled when he heard her make the connection to who he was. He looked back at her with a bit of an evil grin. "One and the same," he confirmed with a mock little bow that made the rest of them laugh. "Where the hell did you find her, Greyback?" one of them asked with a devious grin.

But when one of them made a move towards her, he got suddenly territorial. After all, he'd been the one to go through the trouble of kidnapping her, he didn't plan on sharing his spoils, they could easily get their own. He crouched down slightly and let out a challenging growl, and the other guy backed up again. "Fine, she's yours," but it was clear by the way he spoke that he didn't agree with that idea. Fenrir had known coming in that he was going to have to keep the others away from the girl. He really did intend to turn her, not eat her, but the others couldn't always be trusted, even if they were loyal to him.

"Which one of you decided to move your arse into my place?" he asked, noticing that the area he'd built for his personal home had been moved into. A little frustrated growl rumbled through him before the perpatrator stepped forward and said he would get his things out. Fenrir noticed that this one was the guy who didn't seem so excited to see him, most likely was the one who had taken over in his absence. He was going to have to keep a close eye on him. Once the place was cleared out, he grabbed the girl by the arm, though not nearly as roughly as before, and led her to his "home", which was more of a cave than anything, giving her a small shove into the enclosure. Before he went in after her he turned around and looked at the others.

"Someone get me a pack of fucking cigarettes." He was immediately tossed a pack, and he disappeared into his place, dropping the cloth that served as a door behind him. Once inside, and making sure the girl wasn't going to go anywhere, he lit the fire in the center of the cave, lit a cigarette, and after taking a long drag of it, looked over her for a long moment. "So, sweetheart, what's it going to take to get a name out of you?"

She shrank back when he looked back at her and confirmed that he was in fact the notorious werewolf by the name of Fenrir Greyback. She wanted to run, but he knew she would never be able to get far enough to escape, and the fact that no one ever found where he kept his pack made her very weary that she'd ever get rescued. The only thing she could hope for was that she would, even if the chances were getting slim.

When she saw him get territorial over her, she watched as the other man back down. Though, she wasn't sure if he really was backing down. He was still looking at her like he wanted something she definitely wasn't willing to give, so she went willingly when he pulled her into what looked like a cave. She did notice that he was a little gentler with her than he had been, but she was still very afraid of what would happen to her.

As soon as he let her go, she scrambled over to the back wall and sat with her knees at her chest, and was thinking so hard on what would happen to her now that she almost missed what he said. "What? Oh. Um. I don't know." Her voice shaking the whole time, making it clear she didn't think they'd find her any more.

Fenrir let out a sigh when she spoke. "Look, I told you I wouldn't kill you," he said, trying not to sound as annoyed as he felt. "I'm not going to let those bastards kill you either. I've got other plans for you," He poked at the fire a little to get it roaring and warming up the small space. He then sat back against the opposite wall from her and took a long drag on his cigarette before glancing at the pack. "You want one?" he asked, holding up the pack to show her so she knew what he was talking about.

This might be harder than he thought, she clearly wasn't going to just join his pack willingly, there would be some convincing in order, which meant he'd actually have to be kind of nice to her. He wasn't very good at nice. Really, he had very little experience with it, and he didn't like being nice, it was too much effort. "Look, sweetheart, I hate to break it to you, but no one is going to find you here. I might not be one of you magic freaks, but a few of my guys are, and they've made sure we can't be found, so you might as well make yourself comfortable and get used to the place, this is your home now. This is your family, and we take care of our own." Of course, she wouldn't technically be a part of the family until she was turned, but that wasn't going to stop him from enforcing the others from staying away from her.

His first words to her made her loosen the hold she had on her legs slightly. She wanted to believe what he was telling her. That her fate with this pack of werewolves wouldn't be death. She leaned back slightly and shook her head when he asked if she wanted a cigarette. That was never a habit she wanted to try or pick up. She looked at him for a few seconds. "What plans?" She was starting to find her voice again, choosing to believe his words that he wouldn't kill her, or let them do it. If that were true, then she would have a little room to question him.

When he started to speak again, telling her she'd never be found, she started looking around the cave at what she'd be living in. She needed to know her surroundings to be safe, to find a way out that he couldn't catch her. Something he said at the end caught her ear though, that this family took car of their own, so she looked him straight in the eye as she spoke. "Then let me go home." Finally finding a bit of the inner strength she'd learned from her grandparents in Puerto Rico.

Fenrir considered her when she asked what his plans were. He paused for a long time before answering her, never letting his eyes leave her. "My plans for you, sweetheart, are to integrate you into the pack," he said. "You don't think we welcome humans in here, do you? It is a temporary situation you find yourself in until things can be rectified, and you can be fully made a part of this family."

He figured she'd be able to put two and two together after that. Of course, her next comment made he let out a rough bark of laughter. "What kind of family would we be if we just abandoned you in the forest to fend for yourself with no protection? I think that would be a bad choice on your part, sweetheart."

Her eyes widened when he revealed his plans. He wanted to make her part of the pack, and she couldn't stay as a human? Becoming a werewolf was never on the list of things she wanted to accomplish in her life, and the fear of that happening brought her knees back to her chest. "I don't want to be a werewolf." she mumbled into her legs.

Siobhan startled a little when he laughed. That wasn't what she had expected when she'd challenged him, but he had a point. They were in the forbidden forest. If he were to let her go, and not take her back himself, she would probably die horribly by some creature that lived there. She looked back at him, deciding she needed to stop being a scared little cat if she was going to spend any time there. "They won't leave me alone until I am one, will they?" Looking over at the sheet that separated them from the other wolves.

He snorted in amusement and flicked the end of his cigarette into the fire before pulling another out and lighting it up. "Well, sweetheart, I don't remember asking your opinion on the matter. You had the choice back at Azkaban, help me or die. I promised I wouldn't kill you, this is your only choice now. Death is always still an option if the idea of being one of us repulses you so much." He glared a little, just to drive the point home that if she did choose death, it wouldn't be pleasant or quick.

He took a thoughtful drag on the cigarette. "No, they won't, and there's no promise they'll leave you alone once you are changed, but you'll be able to defend yourself better." Besides, he wasn't going to let them have any fun with his catch. Not after he'd done all the work to get her there. "Stick close to me and you'll be fine." he added as an after thought.

If there was one thing she didn't want, it was her death. Her face paled in horror at the thought of what he could and most definitely would do if she decided she didn't want to be a werewolf. She knew she could be sure it wouldn't be a quick death and it wasn't completely off the table if she were to step one foot out of line. She needed to figure out how to escape this place, but it would take time, so she just looked down into the fire to avoid his eyes.

She continued staring at the fire the whole time he spoke about how his pack still won't leave her alone once she's turned. They kept track of the moon at Azkaban so they knew when the prisoners that were werewolves would change, and they'd just gotten through a full moon cycle before this happened. It was going to be a while before he could turn her, so that was at least one thing to her benefit. It gave her more time to figure something out, but also more time that she probably had to fend of his packmates, and possibly even him after some time. "What happens until then? If they're not going to want to wait?"

Fenrir considered her for a moment before answering. "I won't let them touch you if you don't give me trouble. I told you I'd let you live if you helped me. I'm a man of my word sweetheart. I've got at least one guy out there I'm sure I can trust to look after you when I'm not here. You should make it to the full moon fairly unscathed." he smiled a bit wickedly at her. All of that depended of course on how she acted because if she made his life difficult then he'd get rid of her. Her cooperation meant her safety.
