"My word is golden," he said, then brought the strawberry back for another layer of chocolate. This time, instead of requesting Astoria to open her mouth, he touched the melted chocolate to her lips to cover them before pulling the fruit away.

This time it was his turn to get a taste. He moved in to kiss her chocolate-covered lips, taking his time licking the sweetness from her lips before moving in for a more solid kiss. When they parted, he brought the strawberry to her mouth again and bid her to eat.
