"It was the same this time--what happened was the same, but it was different in a way--it was worse." It was true though, Ern still had a hard time pushing it out of his head.

He considered Justin's reasoning for a moment, knowing that his friend was right. Well he wasn't going to be the only one there though either--he lived in a larger building, so he'd be the only one in a flat, but surrounded by other flats.

"Well if your mum would feel that much better about having me around, I guess I can't say no," Ernie said with a smile. "But you're right--it's not the best idea to be alone at times like these."
