Samara felt relieved. The fact that Astoria had not said anything about her mother again was practically a godsend and she almost wanted to hug her again just because. Jumping into the topic of the Ministry felt absolutely perfect and wonderful and she couldn't be happier about not having to talk about Cecelia and how she may or may not be feeling at the moment.
Not to mention, she was excited to be going back, even if it did mean moving her schedule up a few years. Sure she was leaving her son behind and it was a hard thing to do, but the thought of getting back into the game was a prospect of wonderment for her. She really had enjoyed herself. "Oh please, I doubt they remember me, I had barely made it to the end of my training by the time I left." Which was the truth, she hadn't finished the technical training when she quit. However she had been well liked and very highly regarded while she was there but that was five years ago. "Thank you though, it gives me quite the confidence boost to hear it. At first I thought the idea was almost absurd since it had been so long since I quit. I wondered if they would even consider taking me as anything but a trainee once again." Samara would not be above greasing a few palms if necessary, but she didn't think she would have to start at the very bottom all over again. She may be a bit out of practice but she didn't expect it to take her very long to catch back up again.
"How have things been for you in the department, Astoria?"
