Dear Michael,

I do apologise for reading your letter to my daughter. However, the owl was quite persistent in returning with a response. Lavender just managed to fall asleep for a little while and is quite shaken over the news this morning.

I do not believe she is in a state where she could visit, although if you want to visit her here you are of course welcome. I am sure your company would be well received.

It is also reassuring to know that she has friends who are looking out for her. So I thank you for that.

Thank you for replying to my letter, I wasn't sure where she was staying just now seeing as her flat is still in disrepair. I haven't been able to speak to her quite as often as I would like to, but I am glad that she has made it home alright.

I'm a bit worried about the news myself, all things considered. I knew it would worry her as well, so I wanted to see how she was doing. I will probably stop by sometime later in the afternoon when it's not so early if that's alright. I don't want her to be alone, after all.

Michael,

Yes, that's quite alright. I imagine we will be at the house all day, so feel free to come by whenever you would like.

We are at the cross of Cherry Gardens and Peppercombe Road in the Old Town section of Eastbourne and not on the floo network due the neighbours. There is, however, a good apparation point in the wood behind the house.

Please just use discretion when arriving as all of our neighbours are non-magic and for the large part we don't use magic in the house.

My dad's Muggleborn so I'm used to that sort of thing. No worries. Thanks for the directions though.

You don't happen to know if she took a potion before she went to sleep, do you?
