And he ignored the part about not having to worry for much longer - which sounded a lot like death to Anthony, but maybe that was because this conversation had gone on long enough that Anthony was sure Marietta had mentioned death or similar in relation to Pandora on enough occasions for it to stick. Even more so when it was just echoes of his own thoughts.
And was she suggesting that Cho would tell her anything the DA might or might not talk about again? What exactly was the point of that, he started to think. But, then. What exactly was the point of this entire conversation? Or had her entire purpose been to try to knock them down a few notches and then go about her day. He supposed that was somehow more grown up. Right.
