anthony goldstein has a chart for this. ([info]logiclogiclogic) wrote in [info]pandorarpg,
Anthony's day had been pretty... meh, he guessed was the word. Even though it wasn't actually a word, but that was a minor detail. There was, of course, the owl he'd finally received from his mother which had been very vague about the details of his father's reaction to the news of his possibly impending death. Anthony, of course, had no doubt whatsoever that his father hadn't taken it very well at all. He didn't actually need Lance to divulge that little tidbit. His father had never been very keen on the magic thing, though he claimed it was only because his mother had hidden it from him through more than ten years of marriage. Anthony wasn't exactly sure he'd believed that ever.

As it was now, Anthony was due to have lunch with Michael in the next few minutes, and he had decided to pass some of the time in Flourish and Blotts, looking over books that might help with either his current project, or the one Michael had brought up to him the night before. For the former, it wasn't because he didn't trust Justin to be helpful, but because he actually wouldn't mind adding some to his personal bookshelf. If they also proved to be helpful with the current situation, that would just be a plus really.

The sudden interruption as he was looking through the table of contents of one book had him look up in surprise at being spoken to, especially by name. He paused before answering, as recognition of the woman slowly seeped in. Marietta Edgecombe wasn't the sort of person Anthony expected to willingly talk to him. Especially not to say anything that wasn't insulting. Besides, there was that part where she'd betrayed the DA and likely hated them all.

His eyes were slightly suspicious, even as he said, "Er, hi? I guess it hasn't been too bad." There was no doubt about the fact that she made him uncomfortable. More uncomfortable than a lot of people made him in general, actually. "How... have you been?" It seemed like the thing to ask.
