Hermione was indeed the kind of person whose brain made strange leaps and bounds that most people's didn't, but she was used to being the only one who was able to follow her thoughts, so she of course didn't expect anyone to just jump to her conclusions, but she was pleased to see that Lavender seemed to be keeping up with her crazy mind.

The line was one she recognized, one she had read in one of her mother's poetry books. "Is that Longfellow?" she asked, appreciating that sentiment, as she felt awkward having a moment of weakness in front of her, and honestly in this current company, that was more comforting than anything else she could have said. She of course had no idea if it was aimed at her, or something else, but all the same, it didn't matter.

"Yes, I think we shall have to focus on that. May do everyone some good. It is something I will have to start thinking on more regularly if I'm going to learn what George has to teach." She knew the thought she had focused on in the past, but she figured she had a better one now, even if she had so many more horrible ones as well. "It has been a while since I've last cast a Patronus, I might be a bit rusty, I guess I should do something about that."
