It was strange for Hermione too to think they may not be as different as she had thought, and that was confusing for her. She didn't really have that much of an interest in being friends with Lavender, and she was fairly certain that the other girl felt the same about her, but Since she'd already offered, it wasn't something she could really back out of now without being terribly impolite, and Hermione hated being impolite.

"It's been quite some time for me as well, can't say I'm upset about not needing to cast one, but times seem to change so quickly I suppose." She wasn't sure what to say about the comment about Michael, she had no idea what was going on between the two of them except that they seemed to be friends, and she knew that Lavender's apartment had been broken into recently, so she supposed it made sense that Michael had offered his flat up to her for a temporary situation. But she didn't feel right asking about it either. "I suppose we could practice at mine, I can push the furniture out of the way in the living room and make room for us to practice, if that works for you."
