Lee grinned pretty much the instant the door was opened, not at all surprised himself to see that she had been surprised to find that it was him at the door. Pushing himself off the wall and entering her flat, he turned back towards the door to face her. He gave her a very pointed look and then let a moment pass before adding, "Seriously, though. I was on my way back from seeing Kendrick."

Seeing was a very loose term, though, as that had mostly been purposely annoying the shit out of him. It was a brother thing. Or it might possibly just be a Lee thing as he was sure he'd wouldn't have changed much beside his tactics if he'd been dealing with Hollis instead.
