Jason grabbed Taffy by the hand and lead him to the kitchen and Samara shook her head. Really, she hadn't even accepted and this house elf and her son were taking over. Just brilliant. However, house elves did have a curious type of magic and might have the ability to assist the Chambers in their endeavours in certain ways they otherwise did not know of previously. Not that she was accepting yet - but she couldn't exactly reject it either. It was a brilliant gift to consider.
Samara stood aside. "Would you like to come in for a moment, Zacharias? I suppose it's the least I can offer you seeing as you're going to make me out to be a villain here if I refuse this gift thanks to my poor choice of words for a situation I certainly never expected to come to fruition. Of course I do find it rather odd. Do you often go round handing out house elves to people you hardly know or is our family an exception?"
Argus came running across the foyer then, barking at some unseen visage but was soon followed by Jason and Taffy. Samara pulled out her wand and cast a spell that made both the boy and house elf freeze in place, though it's possible the house elf did so of his own accord and had only been chasing after the boy to get him to stop running in the first place. "I believe there are rules in this house that we obey, especially when we have guests. If you're going to show Taffy how you like to misbehave, then I suppose we are going to have to ask him to leave with Mr. Smith."
Argus came back into the room and nudged her hand with his nose. No longer froze, Jason hung his head and said, "I'm sorry, Mum. Sorry Mr. Smith. Are you good at potions? I'm brewing polyjuice potion, do you want to see?" he asked the man suddenly.
