"Oh--good afternoon," Theodore said, almost falling off the couch as he had been sitting on it in an awkward position as he had been far too restless to sit properly. The glass of wine that sat on the side table wobbled precariously before settling back to equilibrium. It was then that he remembered that she said that she was going to visit.
What he didn't realize was that she was already inside the house. "I'm sorry, I forgot that you were going to be here. I'll be right back once I get something decent on," he said, walking out of the sitting room and right into her as she had entered the house. It took seconds for him to register her presence. "Good afternoon, Tracey," he said. "Thanks for stopping by."
