Tracey didn't want to feel numb. That's what she feared the most she would turn into, even before John died. But she wanted to be focused, and be able to go back to work and pretend things were normal. And what she wanted the most was to find that woman who killed her brother, and make sure she paid dearly for it.
She hadn't even been around for the attacks yesterday. She was relieved in fact, since who knew what state she'd be in after the terrible week Tracey had already. But looking at the damage in Diagon Alley she could only assume what had happened. "I really hope so. One less problem would be a good thing," Tracey said actually perking up at the sight of her block looking better than the rest.
They finally got up to the steps that lead to her flat, as everything looked good. "So far so good," she said letting go of Zacharias' arm so she could walk up the steps, and took out her wands to undo the locks to the front door, and held it open for Zacharias to follow her inside and to the door of her flat. "I think it's safe to say I won't have to do any damage control," she said undoing the locks on her door and going inside to turn on the lights. She'd have to remember to start adding wards now.
