My most sincere condolences. I am so sorry to hear about your mother, if you need any help at all with the arrangements, know that you can call on me and my family. We would be more than willing to help lift the burden in any way we can. I will of course let them know, and we will make sure to be at the service. Your mother was a wonderful woman, I always enjoyed the time I spent with her, she will be missed.
It will be so nice to have you in the office. I have a half day tomorrow, I could meet you some time after 1pm? I'd be more than happy to share my experiences so far and anything else you would like to know. The office is doing quite well at the moment, there haven't been too many things to worry about, but we keep busy for the most part. It will also be lovely to see you, it's been too long. And I understand about the dinner, if you reschedule it let me know and I'll make sure to be there.
