"Oh buggar," he said in fake disappointment. "I had my heart set on chess! Now I don't know what we'll do! You ruin all fun!" he laughed and kissed her shortly.
He liked the sound of that idea, relaxing and still full of physical contact, what more could he ask for, and he didn't have anything else in mind. "I think that sounds like a plan," he said, gently brushing some hair out of her face, and letting his fingers brush across her cheek. "Guess we should gather our clothes and head upstairs." Another thought occurred to him then. "And find the mutt." he had just left Gidget wander, which didn't worry him, but it was uncanny how he knew to just make himself scarce when he should.
