She hadn't been ready for this five years ago and maybe she wasn't fully ready for it now, but it was different. Lavender was a different person now than she was then. Back then she was trying to prove to herself that nothing had been taken from her when she was sure that it was. That Lavender was pretending to be the girl she was before and this one - this one knew who she. She had nothing prove, right now she just wanted to forgot about the fact that she might actually die.
Lavender moved effortlessly in the way he directed. Her hands moving over his exposed skin. She kissed him for a moment longer before leaning back to tug off her over-sized jumper leaving her in a thin tank top and her pajama tops. Maybe she could have said something then, but words were not what they needed right now. Words were heavy and cumbersome. Words had already caused too much trouble between them.
